Airbus Defence and Space awarded Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH with a contract to supply Image Generators of Aechelon Technology, Inc., USA to the German Eurofighter Program.
Manching, Germany — October 2022 — Reiser Simulation and Training announced today that Airbus Defence and Space has selected the Image Generators of Aechelon Technology, Inc. for their German Eurofighter program under the Eurofighter Consortium after a thoroughly competitive tender, evaluation, and fly-off and awarded Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH to provide and install these systems at the Main Operating Bases in Germany as well as at the Central Integration facility.
With Reiser Simulation and Training as the prime contractor, Aechelon is to provide several multi-spectral image generators, databases, and OGC CDB data management infrastructure to be used in support of the Luftwaffe Eurofighter Main Operating Bases for both full mission trainers and several ancillary systems over the following years.
Aechelon Technology will supply its state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Professional Series® with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Nucleus incorporates C4ISR grade GPU-based simulation of OTW, NVG, EO/IR, and Radar support.
