EU-OPS

It stands for Regulation (EC) No 859/2008 of 20 August 2008 amending Council Regulation (EC) No 3922/91 as regards common technical requirements and administrative procedures applicable to commercial transportation by aeroplane. It represents the basis of commercial air transport (CAT) operations with aeroplanes, on which the CAT operations requirements for aeroplanes in the current Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 on air operations were built.
