Full-Flight Simulators (FFS)

New Standard in the World of Helicopter Simulation

Our goal is to provide the highest level of realistic flight experiences in our Level D simulators, where we can put flight crews into perilous situations that could never be tried in actual aircrafts.

The value of such ultra-realistic flight training for pilots cannot be overestimated. Operators from various mission profiles, like HEMS, law enforcement, VIP services, or offshore operators benefit from the innovative system.

Our Level D simulators have a full six-degrees-of-freedom electric motion and vibration system. The field of view out-of-window direct projection display measures 240 degrees horizontally by 80 degrees vertically, with the moving imagery being directly projected using two-channel high-definition LED video projectors. With an intuitive on-board instructor operating station (IOS), sophisticated briefing and debriefing stations, which allow creating and pre-programming of training scenarios, a wide rear cabin for fast roll-on/roll-off of cockpit interchanges and mission kits, the new system provides maximum flexibility.

Cockpit interchange for highest efficiency

The concept is simple but really great. As a pilot and crew training provider you normally have to choose the kind of helicopter you like to train on – one simulator for one type of helicopter. Our unique concept allows the most convenient application of different cockpits within the same simulator/mothership.

The advanced roll-on/roll-off system allows smoothly exchanging cockpits of the most varied helicopter types in no time (< 2hrs) and the holistic approach can be easily adapted to any other rotary or fixed-wing platform. Curious? Simply watch the videoclip or get in touch with us.

Unique 3rd Crew Member Station

Our 3rd Crew Member Station is located in the aft-cabin behind the cockpit inside the dome. The unique solution allows the winch operator to look out of the helicopter simulator by means of virtual augmented reality. The Reiser mixed reality device enables the Medical Crew Member to perform all his mission duties from clearing the rear part of the helicopter when landing in confined areas as well as observing any hand signals given by the Rescue Man attached to the rope of the helicopter.

The Instructor Operating Station as well as two tablet computers in the dome provide intuitive control of the simulated Rescue Man such as hand signals and movements on the ground via a touch screen.

Training is improved by a night vision mode that simulates the typical enhanced view through a Night Vision Goggle (NVG) and further by a torch, equipped with a tracker system, projecting a simulated light beam to illuminate landing and accident site.

The simulated light beam is visible for both MCM (through MR goggle), Pilot and Co-Pilot in the dome which provides most realistic training during night missions. The MCM Station provides next generation training during Rescue Man / Underslung Maneuvers, Search and Rescue Missions, Take-Off and Landing Maneuvers in confined areas, paired with an immersive benefit for crew coordination.

Tablet IOS and Seamless Replay

Each and every training maneuver is captured including the cockpit displays in high resolution, all scenario settings and pilot inputs.

The data is available for instant replay in the dome or for subsequent in-depth analysis using the virtual cockpit displays & outside view of any of the Debriefing Stations.

During training the instructor is always free to join his trainee in the cockpit and continue to control the session from his wireless tablet IOS.

Awards and Certificates

Our company is ISO 9001 certified. Our systems comply with EASA, FAA and ICAO Doc 9625 requirements, and are backed by comprehensive service and support throughout the product life cycle.

The Reiser simulators use precise flight data models that we develop ourselves for each type of aircraft we support. Using sophisticated 3D scanning and detailed flight data acquisition approaches, we can deliver new levels of accuracy and cost-effectiveness that redefine the industry’s traditional expensive and inflexible business models.
