First qualification level defined in the EASA regulation. This generic system is a very cost effective solution and a different training syllabus may be used for ab-initio, Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) and procedural navigation training towards the instrument rating. This may be also a very efficient tool to demonstrate safety procedures and good practises such as the ones Training Leaflet1. The qualification level ranges from highlighted in the HE1 I (without visual and motion system) to II and III (with visual reference system).
