On June 24, REISER welcomed guests from the German Armed Forces and companies from ten European countries to its headquarters in Mörlbach for the REISER Varjo Experience Day.

The event focused on one central question: How will Extended Reality (XR) shape the next generation of training and simulation?

The morning featured a series of expert presentations covering strategic developments, practical applications and future training concepts. We would like to thank our distinguished speakers for sharing their expertise and perspectives:

  • Nico Lange, Founder & Director, IRIS Institute for Risk Analysis and International Security
  • Bartek Panasewicz, VP Training Systems Land, Rheinmetall
  • Florian Rabe, Managing Director, DRF Academy
  • Patrick Wyatt, Chief Product Officer, Varjo

In the afternoon, participants explored the latest XR technologies in the Experience Zone. Live demonstrations provided the opportunity to experience immersive training solutions first-hand and to discuss real-world applications directly with REISER and Varjo experts.

Throughout the day, the Networking Garden offered the perfect setting for meaningful conversations between military representatives, industry partners and technology specialists. The open exchange of ideas and experiences once again highlighted the importance of collaboration in driving innovation.

The REISER Varjo Experience Day demonstrated how immersive technologies are transforming professional training and how close cooperation between technology providers, industry and end users accelerates this development.

We would like to thank our partner Varjo, all speakers, our guests and the entire REISER team for making this event such a success. We look forward to continuing these conversations and shaping the future of XR-based training together.
